This kind of seoinage is called “seoi otoshi” by the Kodokan. Some people use “seoi otoshi” to describe a split leg seoinage, where the legs are wide as in tai otoshi, but this is incorrect. “Otoshi” literally means dropping, as in tani otoshi or uki otoshi.
