USA Judo is the national governing body for judo in the United States. They are a member of the United States Olympic Committee and their mission is to “enable all United States athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence in domestic and international judo competition,” and to promote and grow the sport of judo in the United States.

510 Judo is a member club of USA Judo. If you are a member of 510 Judo, USA Judo membership is required for:

  • Competitors – even if you rarely compete you will need a membership
  • Ranks of sankyu and above (brown belt for adults, blue/purple for juniors)

You can also join USA Judo at any time, even as a white belt or a non-competitor.
