Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing 510 Judo for two weeks starting today, March 13th, in order to do our part to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. We plan to re-open on Saturday, March 28th, and will stay in touch with everyone with updates.

To be clear, there are NO REPORTED CASES OF CORONAVIRUS at the dojo or from any student or parent.

According to what I’ve read, health officials are recommending “social distancing” – basically not touching or coming too close to other people unless necessary – to help “flatten the curve” of the outbreak. Since our favorite past time is essentially the opposite of social distancing, I’ve made the difficult decision to close the dojo for two weeks.

Thank you all for your patience. We’ll get through this together and hopefully will be back on the mats in no time.

In the meantime we can stay in touch with each other through our Facebook group and blog, where I’ll be posting some fun judo videos and exercises you can do at home to stay in judo shape.

Take care,

Sensei Jonah
