It’s HAPPENING! We are having our first in house tournament on Sunday, September 9th. Only Oakland Judo students will be allowed to participate. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER NOW!! Only $5 if you pre-register online, $10 cash only on the day of the tournament. We will be using OLD SCHOOL RULES which means leg grabs are allowed (see above). Divisions will be created based on age, weight, and belt/experience level, which means there will be divisions for everyone, even novices. Round robin format means the maximum number of matches.
We will also have freestyle wrestling divisions for our wrestlers so bring your wrestling shoes!
I would love to see full participation in this event. If you don’t want to compete then please come help with set up, weigh ins, pool running, officiating and record keeping. This will be a lot of fun, right here in our dojo and should be all over in a few hours.
