Here is a belated recap of the Cupertino tournament, which took place on March 25 of this year.
The Cupertino tournament is one of the best in the bay area, drawing competitors from all over. Despite being held in a small high school gym with only four mats, they were able to run through over 400 players and finish up by 6 p.m.
We had eight competitors overall, seven kids and one adult. Altogether we had one first place, one second place and two thirds, and all of our kids came away with at least one win, including first time competitors Hank and Logan. Congratulations to all!
The next tournament is on April 22nd in San Francisco, at City College. This is also a very nice tournament, and it should be less crowded than Cupertino, only because the gym is much larger. Please do attend and support our competitors! Click here to learn more about the CCSF tournament and download a printed entry form. Entry forms are also available matside at the dojo.
