Congratulations to these kids on getting their next stripe. As I told them today, promotions recognize hard work and the skill they have acquired, but it comes with more responsibility. Now that they have been in the program for awhile and gained a few stripes, there will be higher expectations for them, both in terms of skill and in terms of setting a good example for newcomers and lower belts.
Ronin and Angel advance to two stripes, Evan and Henry to three stripes, and Silas gets his fourth stripe. After fourth stripe you advance to the half-white/half-yellow belt. David and Silas were promoted last month in the middle of the promotion cycle due to outstanding performances in competition.
Stripe testing will continue throughout the month for the kids program, so if your kid wasn’t here today for testing don’t worry, we’ll get them next practice.
