Kids Judo Promotions
Congratulations to Isaac and David. These two have been working very hard and competing a lot, and it shows.
Yesterday they took first and third in their pool at the City College tournament, and today I promoted them to 8th and 9th kyu – corresponding to yellow belt and half white half yellow belt (it’s tradition to get a congratulations throw when you get promoted).
We usually test for junior stripe promotions every few months, but students can be promoted at any time if they are ready.
