For the past few weeks in adult class we’ve been studying sasae tsurikomi ashi (propping lifting pulling foot throw). Take a look at this devastating competition example from Japan’s +100kg player Yasuyuki Muneta. Perfect timing, perfect kuzushi, everything perfect. The opponent lands flat on his back for a clear ippon. No one will debate this. Muneta sasae for the win!!
